Complex Numbers

Complex number is defined as a number which includes two parts such as real part and imaginary part. These numbers consist the real numbers as ordinary. It can be extended by adding the extra numbers.

The general form of complex number is (x + yi). Here x represents real part of complex number, y represents imaginary part of complex number with the standard imaginary unit of i.

Complex Numbers were first conceived and defined by the Italian Mathematician Gerolamo Cardano, who called them "fictitious".

The rules of Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of Complex Numbers were developed by the Italian mathematician "Rafael Bombelli".
