Introduction to simple division:
In mathematics, mainly in basic arithmetic, division (÷) is the arithmetic operation that is the opposite of multiplication. Division is recurrently exposed in algebra and science by placing the dividend over the divisor with a straight line, also called a vinculum or fraction bar, between them. For model, p divided by q is written ` p /q`
Specifically, if c times b equals a, written:
c x b = a, where b is not zero,
then a divided by b equals c, written:
`a/b= c`
Concept of simple division:
The dimension of each set shaped, quotient of x and y is z. Quotative division includes a set of size x and form collections of dimension y. The number of collections of the dimension that can be shaped, z, is the quotient of x and y.
Simple Division algorithm:
The division algorithm is the theorem that exactly states the solution of the division procedure of numbers. The theorem has numbers as the quotient q and remainder r that are exist and it has the unique a and divisor d, with d ? 0.
The theorem is established as follow: There exist constrained numbers q and r such that a = q d + r and 0 = r < | d |, where | d | shows the absolute value of d.

Example 1: Solve: `36/4`
Solution:
`36/4` = 9
Example 2: Solve: (`a/b` ) / (`e/ f` )
Solution:
(`a/b` ) /(`e/ f` ) =(`a/b` ) x (`f/e` ) = (af) / (be)
Example 3: Solve: `42/6` using simple division.
Solution:
`42/6` = 7
The answer is 7
Example 4: Solve: `56/7` using simple division.
Solution:
`56/7` = 8
