The following problems are examples to solve best in math practice coaching.

Math practice coaching problem 1:

A famous motor company has produced 1200 vehicle for every month and they are producing three types of vehicles, the number of first type is 240 more than the second type and the third type is 3 times of the first type. Find the number of first type vehicles?

Solution:

let assume first type   = A

Second type              = B

Third type                  = C

A + B + C = 1200------------------------->(1)

And as per the given condition

1 ) first types is 240 more than  second type

so,      A = 240 + B  -------------------------> (2)

B = A - 240

2)  The third type is 3 times of the first type

C  = 3A

Substitute the values of B and C in equation 1, we get

A + (A - 240) +  3A = 1200

A + A - 240 + 3A = 1200

A + A + 3A - 240 = 1200

5A - 240      = 1200

Add 240 on both sides, we get

5A - 240 + 240  = 1200 + 240

5A  = 1440

Divide by 5 on both sides,we get

5A / A  = 1440 / 5

A   = 288

There are 288 numbers of first type vehicles.

Math practice coaching problem 2:

Solve the following, 6x + 5y = 25, 3x - 5y = 20

Solution:

Here we need to find the value of x and y

The given equations are

6x + 5y = 25------------->(1)

3x - 5y = 20--------------> (2)

by solving the above equation,we get

9x = 45

divide by 9 on both sides,we get

9x / 9 = 45 /9

x = 5

apply x = 5 in equation (1)

6x + 5y = 25

6(5) + 5y = 25

30 + 5y = 25

add -30 on both sides, we get

30- 30 + 5y = 25 - 30

5y = -5

Divide by 5 on both sides,we get

5y /5 = -5/5

y = -1

The values of x and y are , (5.-1).

Try to solve the following sample problems:

Problem 1:

Solve the following, 4a + 5b = 70, 6a - 5b = 10

Solution: a = 8,b = 6

Problem 2:

There are 430 balloons with the combination of 3 colors as green, blue and yellow. Green is 50 more than blue and yellow is 2 times of green, find the number of green balloons?

Solution: green balloons are = 120 balloons
