Math makes sense 5:
In this article we discuss about 5th grade mathematic answer for math make sense 5. In this article we are going to discuss number patterns in divisors, factors, multiples and prime numbers, arithmetic expression. In everyday life we are using mathematical concepts often. 5th grade math covers following chapters
Natural number and whole numbers
Face and place value and Expanded form
Algebra and linear algebra
Arithmetic operations Addition and subtraction, multiplication and division ect..
Multiples of maths makes sense 5:
Consider the number 4
Multiply 4 by the numbers 1, 2, 3...
Then we get 4, 8, 12, 16, 20...
All these are multiples of 4.
Math makes sense 5 Example 1:
Find six multiples of 8
The six multiples of 8 are
1 × 8 = 8
2 × 8 = 16
3 × 8 = 24
4 × 8 = 32
5 × 8 = 40
6 × 8 = 48
The six multiples of 8 are 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48
Math makes sense 5 Example 2:
The five multiples of 12 are
1 × 12 = 12
2 × 12 = 24
3 × 12 = 36
4 × 12 = 48
5 × 12 = 60
The five multiples of 12 are 12, 24, 36, 48, 60
I have recently faced lot of problem while learning Order Whole Numbers, But thank to online resources of math which helped me to learn myself easily on net.
Arithmetic operation of maths makes senses 5:
Addition of math makes sense 5:
To add two are more numbers together to make a new total.
Example:
1) Hear one ball is added to two balls to make three balls
1 + 2 = 3
2) Hear 100 pens are added to 50 pens to make the 150 pens.
100 + 50 = 150
Subtraction of math makes sense 5:
To subtract two are more numbers together to make a new total.
Example:
1) If you have 10 orange and you subtract 5, you will left with 5
10 – 5 = 5
2) If you have 100 apple and you subtract 75, you will left with 25
100 – 75 = 25
Division of math makes sense 5:
Division is a divided in to equal part of the numbers.
Example:
1) 12 divided by 4 is 3:
The answer is 3.
2) 20 divided by 10 is 2.
The answer is 2
3) 100 divided by 25 is 4
The answer is 4
Linear algebra for math makes sense 5:
Example 1:
To solve for 10x+5 =0
Solution:
10x +5=0
Subtract 5 on the both sides
10x +5-5 = 0-5
10x = -5
Divided by 10 on both sides
x = -0.5
The answer is -0.5
Example 2:
To solve for 5x + 5 = 10
Solution:
5x + 5 =10
Subtract 5 on the both sides
5x+5-5 = 10 -5
5x = 5
Divided by 5 on both side
x = -1
The answer is -1
