Fraction problem- 4th grade help in math


Problem for 4th grade help in math 5:

In fraction form

Adding and subtracting the fraction numbers 5/9 + 6/9 – 3/9.

In denominator, both the values are equal so take it common.

Now, (5 + 6 - 3)/9, add and subtract the value in numerator.

= 8/9

Answer is 8/9.
